George Broadbent feels Rovers are beginning to find a level of consistency after battling out a goalless draw with Swindon Town.
The stalemate brought to an end a three-game week that featured a trio of excellent performances not reflected by the results they achieved.
Saturday's draw with Swindon was a spirited and battling showing as Rovers played the entirety of the second half with ten men following the dismissal of Tommy Rowe just before the break.
And Broadbent feels the last week can merely be the start of better things for Rovers.
"Whoever we're playing, we've got to find that consistency in our performance," Broadbent said. "That is what is going to help up move up the league.
"We're getting to know each other and also nailing down what we're all about.
"That's helped us in the last two weeks and hopefully it's the start of something we can push towards."
