Another impressive performance from the red and white hoops and especially Liam Mandeville, as he scored a hat-trick and Doncaster knocked seven past a very deflated Mansfield side who did not manage to test Jack McLaren all game.

It did not take Rovers too long to get into their stride as Liam Mandeville broke through the Mansfield defence but his right-footed effort was easily saved by Sam Wilson.

That was a warning sign of things to come.

Less than three minutes later Mandeville opening the scoring, a quick free kick by Alex Head over the top of the defence which landed at the feet of Mandeville who slotted it past Wilson.

A free kick on the right side by Michael Carberry produced a set piece of real quality, his whipped cross was met by the head of Connor Williamson who nestled the header into the top corner.

Mansfield had their first chance of the game on the 35th minute, Joe Bayne dispossessed Joseph McCormick on the edge of the Rovers box. Bayne tried to chip the ball over the top of Jack McLaren but is was easily saved by the goalkeeper.

Pugh was denied by a great save from Wilson, he battled well to win the ball back on Mansfield's by-line and he tried to squeeze it past the goalkeeper at the front post but Wilson read the mind of the striker and pulled of a stunning left-handed save to keep it to 2-0.

With manager Paul Stancliffe's words still ringing in the players ears after half time, Rovers took it up another notch.

Mandeville made it three, his right footed looping effort from 20-yards out left Mansfield goalkeeper with no chance.

10 minutes later it was four and this was the best of them all.

The predominately left footed Michael Carberry scored a stunning right footed curling effort, which as soon as it left his foot it was only heading one direction.

One minute later it was 5-0, Carberry was involved again, his superb ball over the top was picked up Joe Pugh who nestled his effort into the right corner.

Doncaster continued to push for more goal and it was nearly six but Kieron Lane cleared Joe Pugh's header off the line.

Rovers did eventually make it six and it was substitute Matthew Parkin, Mansfield's goalkeeper Sam Wilson made a hash of his apperance and it was picked up by Tyler Walker who laid pulled the ball back to Parkin who applied the finish.

The rout was finished by the man who started it Liam Mandeville.

A long ball over the top by Paul McKay split Mansfield's defence, Mandeville ran through and squeezed the ball through the goalkeepers legs.

Another superb performance from a team still pushing for the Youth Alliance league title.
