BHF kit now on sale

26 December 2016

Rovers can confirm a limited edition British Heart Foundation kits will go on sale due to popular demand.

The white kit was worn during the memorable 5-1 win at Morecambe, a match which also saw captain James Coppinger make his 500th competitive appearance for Rovers.

After numerous requests from supporters, kit suppliers FBT have produced a limited edition run which are now on sale in the Club Doncaster shop. A donation will be made to the BHF for every shirt sold.

The kit will also be worn by the first-team for the home game against Luton Town on Saturday February 18 – the match designated by Rovers as a fundraising match for the charity.

Rovers chief executive Gavin Baldwin said:  “We have been inundated with fans asking if we can produce these shirts, so we’re delighted to be able to fulfil that demand and assist a good cause at the same time.

“Our partnership with the British Heart Foundation is something we have taken tremendous pride in, and look forward to continuing this in the second half of the season.”

FBT spokesman David Dove added: “FBT are delighted to have manufactured this kit and equally pleased to see a contribution of the sales going to such a fantastic charity as the British Heart Foundation.”
