Checkatrade Trophy consultation

Thu 16 Mar 2017

Doncaster Rovers would like to hear the thoughts of fans on the future of the Checkatrade Trophy.

Sky Bet League One and League Two clubs have been invited to provide feedback on the competition’s format, which we will do at a meeting on April 11.

We have canvassed opinion from our Supporters Board, and are keen to hear a full range of fans opinions.

The options we have been presented for next season are:
• Retain the existing format
• Return to the old knockout format for League One and League Two clubs
• End the competition altogether
• Retain the existing format, but with no restrictions on the players that clubs can use
We would like to hear your views as supporters before the club make a decision on how we will vote.
Please email with any feedback, including your preferred option, before Friday March 31.
