Foundation Friday 28/4/17

28 April 2017

Club Doncaster Foundation took part in EFL Day of Action on Tuesday, as they showcased a typical day at the Keepmoat Stadium.

As part of the day, all 72 EFL clubs came together to highlight and showcase the impact of their community work in towns and cities nationwide.

CDF’s take on the day was a virtual tour of behind the scenes at the organisation, which followed the team around on an accustomed day in the offices and around the community.

Content included interviews, insights and even a visit from local radio stations and the EFL themselves.

CEO, Jim Lord was delighted with the day, he said: “The EFL day of action has been fantastic, all the foundation’s have come a long way and it’s a brilliant way to showcase the work they do.

“The work we do here at Club Doncaster Foundation can impact on far greater objectives. We impact on sport, education and the public health agenda and hopefully today shows the breadth of what we actually do.”

As part of the day, Club Doncaster Foundation launched their schools package video, which went out to schools across the Borough to highlight the fantastic work the community coaches do as well as promote it to new schools.

Head of Community John Davis said: “Today is a great opportunity for Foundations like us to promote the work we do across our communities on a daily basis.

“Here at Club Doncaster Foundation we chose to utilise the day to shadow each department and showcase what a day in the life of the Foundation looks like.”
