Commercial team at Doncaster Rovers thank sponsors, staff and players for their efforts at end of season bash.
The Doncaster Rovers Player of the Year Awards Dinner took place on Sunday in sensational style, in the aftermath of the thrilling 5-2 win over Scunthorpe United.Man of the moment, Nathan Tyson who scooped the matchball in the win over the Iron for his hat-trick, also took home the prestigious Golden Boot and Player of the Year awards after he had registered 14 goals in all competitions in his first campaign at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Attended by more than 250 players, staff, supporters and sponsors, the full list of awards was as follows:
Young Player’s Player of the Year – Liam Mandeville
Young Player of the Year – Paul McKay
Outstanding Contribution to Club Doncaster Foundation – Pat Queens
Doncaster Rovers Fan of the Year – Kevin Baker
Goal of the season – Kyle Bennett (second goal v Sheffield United at Bramall Lane)
Golden Boot – Nathan Tyson
Player’s Player of the Year – Paul Keegan
Special Achievement Award – James Coppinger
Player of the Year – Nathan Tyson
