Rovers legend to face boyhood club in testimonial pre season friendly.
Doncaster Rovers pre-season friendly against Middlesbrough on July 25th (3pm) at Keepmoat Stadium will be played to honour the ongoing career of club stalwart James Coppinger.An avid Boro fan, Coppinger is nearing the Rovers all time appearance record (468 matches) and the game against his boyhood club is a fitting tribute to the 34 year old from Guisborough.
The acquisition of the game against the Riverside Stadium outfit completes a quartet of home pre season friendlies with Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Wolves all coming to town.
A special, commemorative programme will be available for purchase on the day.
All games will be UNRESERVED seating in the South Stand.
