Rovers show their colours in town centre to help spread the word.
Doncaster Rovers have today unveiled their colours in the Frenchgate Shopping centre in the centre of town.As well as rolling out our advertising for the #MyLocalTeam 2015/16 Season Ticket campaign, the club are actively giving away home league tickets to fans who send photos of themselves posing next to Rovers popular mascot, Donny Dog! All those that tweet a picture will be put into a weekly draw and winners will attend the game on the club.
Winners of the Football League’s Family Excellence Award for the eighth year running – one of only six clubs nationwide to do so – Rovers are conscious that supporters have called a greater presence in the town centre and feel that this is just the start of things to come.
Marketing and Communications Manager Ryan Murrant said: "It's lovely to see the Club colours in the town centre. We have had some great feedback already and it's only been up for 12 hours! The #MyLocalTeam theme is all about the fans and this town so it's vital that we get our name out and about more. We want this town to be proud of the club and to come and support us"
Season tickets for the forthcoming season are priced at just £14.74 per game for adults and £6.48 per game for 17-21 year olds.
