Duffy set for Blues move

Midfielder negotiates Midlands move.

Mark Duffy has joined Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City, Doncaster Rovers can confirm.

The midfielder, who joined Rovers from Scunthorpe United in the summer of 2013, is due to join Lee Clark’s Blues side on 1st July.

Twenty-eight year old Duffy scored two goals in 39 appearances in all competitions last season, having made the transition from non-league football to the Keepmoat Stadium via Glanford Park.

Following relegation from the Championship last term, Duffy has activated a clause in his contract which will allow him to move to St. Andrew’s.

We thank Mark for his contributions both on and off the field and wish him all the best in the future.
