Fans Provide EGG-STRA Boost

17 April 2014

Easter double header looming large for egg-spectant fans.

Sales for Friday night’s game against Derby County at the Keepmoat Stadium (7:30 pm) are approaching the 10,000 mark.

The Good Friday fixture is Rovers’ penultimate home game of the season and dual tickets to this game and the Reading match on 26th April, can be bought for £35 with our amazing ticket offer here.

“It’s a big game because it’s the next one and I’ve said that all along. Its going to be a tough game because Derby are a top team but we’ve risen when we’ve played the top teams and the lads have reacted well,” said manager Paul Dickov.

“We know that we can play well against them, we know tomorrow night especially, we need to get right in among them and fight and scrap for every ball and if we do that we’ve got a chance.

“The fans have been fantastic and we know that they’ll be behind us tomorrow night and it’s really up to us to show them how determined we are to go out there and get the three points for them and to do that we’ve got to show that we never give up and fight for every ball, chase every ball and get them going because when our fans are up for it, it really gives the players a boost,” he said.

Rovers have also sold in the region of 300 tickets for the trip to Millwall on Bank Holiday Monday (3pm).

The fixture against the Lions at The New Den is a crucial one and it is suggested supporters wanting to attend buy tickets before they are taken off sale at noon on Friday 18th April.

There’s still plenty to play for this season and the club, as always, appreciates your support.

*Fans making their way to The New Den via public transport are advised that south Bermondsey rail station – at the back of the away end – will be closed on Monday. Please contact your transport provider for further details.*
