Camps to return during half term!
Following the success of the Club Doncaster soccer camps over the summer holidays, the Foundation are delighted to announce the programme will return to Rossington Main Football Club during October half term.We can confirm the camp will run for two days on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th October from 9am-3pm, based at the amateur club making it more accessible to local players.
Focusing on the key elements of football and delivered by the high quality coaches from Club Doncaster Foundation, the camp will enhance to skills of children aged 7-14 years of age in a fun and safe environment.
Participants at the October camp will also be treated to a special visit from popular club mascot Donny Dog.
Speaking about the camps the Foundation’s community manager Gareth Cook said: “This year we took our summer camps to a variety of amateur clubs through the region for the first time and we saw both an improvement in participation and enjoyment, helping them become our most successful ever.
“Rossington Main are part of the Club Doncaster Foundation ambassador programme and we hope the help the club recruit new players from the local schools as well as provide opportunities for those based at the club throughout the year.
“Our relationship with Rossington has grown over the last year and we always look forward to working with Carl Stokes and his team both now and in the future.”
The 2 day camp costs £25 with £5 per participant donated back to the amateur club as a reward for hosting the camp and we hope the money provided can be used by the club to purchase kit/equipment for the junior section.
