Local lad Andy Butler has put pen to paper on a permanent deal to keep him at Doncaster Rovers
Andy Butler has put pen to paper on a two and a half year deal with Doncaster Rovers.The 31 year old centre half had been with Paul Dickov’s side on loan from South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, before making the switch from Bramall Lane to Keepmoat Stadium permanent.
Doncaster born Butler began his footballing career with Scunthorpe United, before spells with Huddersfield Town and Walsall.
A referee in his spare time, Butler has made thirteen appearances so far for Doncaster, scoring one goal.
