Doncaster Rovers can confirm that James Harper has left the club by mutual consent.
James has reiterated to the club his desire to play first team football on a regular basis and following discussions with Paul Dickov, it has been agreed that the midfielder be allowed to progress his career elsewhere.Gavin Baldwin, Chief Executive said “James Harper played a large part in the clubs promotion from League 1 last season and leaves with the clubs best wishes.
"The owners of the club have reiterated to Paul, that this action will release further funds for Paul’s transfer budget.”
