Club to donate cut of takings from Boxing Day game v Scunthorpe to local charities.
Local charities will benefit this Christmas when Rovers will donate a portion of car park takings from the home game against Scunthorpe United on Boxing Day.Due to the fact that there will be no public transport available to supporters on the day, Rovers have reduced parking to £3 in every car park at Keepmoat Stadium with 50p from each transaction going to the charities.
Supporters are encouraged to travel together or car share to reduce their environmental footprint, however we expect it to be a popular offer so please arrive early.
All Rovers Season Ticket Holders can also bring up to two friends to the game at a cost of £10 each with the reintroduction of the fantastic Voucher M offer.
Marketing and Communications Manager Ryan Murrant said: “Transport around the festive period is notoriously arduous but we want to make it as easy as possible for supporters of both sides to get to the Keepmoat for what is always a tasty derby game.
“The board have been brilliant in allowing us to do this and they fully support the notion of car-sharing.”
