Young stopper Steer joins Rovers
Jed Steer has joined Doncaster Rovers on a three month loan deal subject to Football League Approval.The 21 year old goalkeeper joins Paul Dickov’s men from Premier League outfit Aston Villa.
Having represented England at a variety of youth levels, Steer – who has had loan spells with Cambridge United and Yeovil Town – moved from his hometown club Norwich City to Villa Park in 2013.
Training alongside internationally recognised stoppers such as Brad Guzan and Shay Given, Steer was given his chance last term and featured in three cup games for Paul Lambert’s men.
