Former Wigan Athletic 'keeper Marko Marosi joins the ranks.
Rovers have swooped to sign young goalkeeper Marko Marosi on a two year deal following his release by Wigan.The 20 year old Slovakian has been training with Paul Dickov’s squad during pre-season and will look to compete for the number one jersey with new goalkeeping loan recruit, Jed Steer.
Marosi was spotted by Athletic after playing for Barnoldswick Town and made his move permanent after impressing on trial and at the completion of his degree in July 2013.
Opportunities for Uwe Rosler’s men were at a premium last term, but Marosi has international pedigree and has played for his country at youth level.
Marko will go straight in to Paul Dickov’s squad subject to Football League clearance.
