Rovers Support Home-Start

24 October 2014

MK Dons game designated to local charity.

Doncaster Rovers show their support once again for a local community-based charity, which gives valuable support and friendship to families in the Doncaster area.

Doncaster Home-Start is a very impressive organisation which supports interaction between parents and children, aiding child development and increasing children’s self-esteem. The work of Home-Start relies heavily on the services of volunteers, and financial contributions from the local community.

Saturday’s match against MK Dons is the official themed match at Keepmoat Stadium on behalf of Home-Start. Volunteers in attendance will be inviting donations from Rovers supporters outside and inside the stadium before the match and during the half-time interval.

There will be a special Tombola Stand in the East Concourse giving fans the chance to win prizes of various sorts, including free tickets to a future Rovers match. Goodies for children will be plentiful at the Tombola Stand, and we hope that as many of our fans as possible will support the fundraising of Home-Start.

Doncaster Rovers fans have a well-recorded history of being very generous when it comes to fundraising on behalf of the club’s Official Charity Partners, and we thank them in advance for supporting Saturday’s appeal on behalf of Home-Start.
