Rovers Welcome New Charity Partners

17 December 2014

2015 Charities chosen.

Doncaster Rovers’ loyal fans have once again committed their intentions of support to local charity by voting for St. John’s Hospice and the Ray Dunning Scholarship Fund as the Club’s Official Charity Partners for 2015.

Having previously nominated several local charities for consideration, fans were then asked to cast their votes in favour of the three charities which had topped the nominations list. After ten days of voting, the above two charities came out on top, and are now officially recognised as the Club’s Official Charity Partners for the coming year.

The Club will work closely with the representatives of these two charities in order to raise more awareness of their work, and through the generous support of Rovers’ fans give valuable support to fundraising events in support of both St. John’s Hospice, and the Ray Dunning Scholarship Fund.

December 31st brings to a close the partnership which the club had afforded to Doncaster Samaritans and also Doncaster Home-Start. Both of these charities have been delighted with the support which they have received throughout 2014 from the Club and supporters, and have expressed their gratitude to the many Rovers’ fans that have supported them in their work.
