Rovers' Support Liaison Officers do their bit for charity.
Doncaster Rovers’ Support Liaison Officers Lee Croft and Mark Hughesman have raised a total of £75.00 for Children’s Hospice Bluebell Wood after taking accepting to participate in the popular fundraiser, the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The pair were drenched – and frozen – prior to the Oldham Athletic home game on Saturday, but Mark said it was worth it: “It was worth those few seconds of ice cold pain for such a fantastic cause.
“We have given over £75 to Bluebell Wood thanks to over 140 fans ‘retweeting’ us. We would also like to thank Centreplate for providing us with the buckets of ice and look forward to Phil Goldman and Martin O’Hara undertaking the challenge.”
