Leeds Building Society’s donation to Donny Rovers coincides with the team on the verge of a return to the Championship
As the League One Season draws to a thrilling climax, Leeds Building Society presented Doncaster Rovers Football Club with a cheque for £11,500 during the half time interval of their game with Notts County on Saturday.
This donation relates to 1 per cent of the total balances in the Donny Rovers Saver account over the last 12 months. The Donny Rovers saver is the affinity account Leeds Building Society operates in conjunction with Doncaster Rovers.
Representing Leeds Building Society on Saturday were their Doncaster Branch Manager Melissa Foulis, and Doncaster Branch Customer Service Advisor Laura Rey. Melissa and Laura made the large cheque presentation to Doncaster Rovers Chairman John Ryan.
Melissa Foulis said, “Myself and Laura really enjoyed the occasion on Saturday, and were delighted to meet John Ryan. Although Doncaster Rovers lost the game with Notts County, I am sure they will get the right result at Brentford this weekend and reclaim their place in the Championship.
