Tyson: "It's must win"

Hitman Nathan looking to knock out Sky Blues in crunch encounter.

Nathan Tyson says that he and his Doncaster teammates are not shying away from the task in hand.

The 32 year old striker also described Saturday’s trip to relegation threatened Coventry City as “must win.”

“It's a huge game. It’s massive for us because we've not won for a while and losing two and drawing two are far from the standards we want,” Tyson said.

“Going away from home will hopefully take the pressure off us - we seem to do well away from home - but I’d say that this game is must win.

“The desire is still there.”

Tyson, who has hit ten goals this season, has often said that he has fallen back in love with the game, but will love it even more if he can help Doncaster to a top six finish.

“I’ve spoken to my agent and I love it here. From the place I was at and the gaffer and the football club to give me the opportunity has made me love football again and I’d love to stay,” he said of the future.

“The gaffer is doing the best he can but it comes down to us on the pitch. We’ve been positive but not really tightened up at the back or taken as many chances as we should.

“For us to get to the next level we need to worker harder individually and as a team and be tough. We’re looking forward to the opportunity and the challenge that lies in store but it's an exciting time.”
