Season ticket holder rewarded for his loyalty - but don't panic, you can still beat the Early Bird.
Doncaster Rovers would like to congratulate Riley Gilbert who scooped the final prize of our ‘From the locker room’ draw.Fifteen year old Riley – who has been a season ticket holder since the club moved to Keepmoat Stadium – bought his 2015/16 season ticket before the original Early Bird deadline of March 31st and recreated Andy Butler's promotional pose (below).
Due to the high demand of ticket sales, however, Rovers revealed yesterday that they were to extend the offer to supporters until 5pm on Good Friday so fans don’t miss out on the discount.
Mr Gilbert, of Dunscroft, said: “I thought it was an April Fool’s joke when they rang up to say I’d won a prize.
“I’ve been coming here for ages now and all my family come along to the games and sit in the West Stand.
“I’m a big fan of James Coppinger so to have him and the team sign the #MyLocalTeam poster is great – I think I’ll put it on my wall!”
