Local leading newspaper Doncaster Free Press this week showed their support for Rovers for the new season by sponsoring the Doncaster Rovers Family Area.
The move means the Family Area, located in the Success Doncaster (East) Stand will now be known the Doncaster Free Press Family Area. The sponsorship deal will last for three years and continues to show the commitment by both Doncaster Rovers and the Doncaster Free Press in promoting family activities.
During the course of the season Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster Free Press will be working together to put on several discount deals for families who sit in the Doncaster Free Press Family Area and will be also be running regular competitions for fantastic prizes too.
The latest sponsorship deal continues to show Doncaster Rovers commitment to Football League initiatives such as Enjoy the Match and Fans of the Future which specifically target families and children. The Doncaster Free Press sponsorship deal follows in the footsteps of other recent Rovers community partnerships such as the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and Junior Rovers sponsor Astrabound.
Doncaster Rovers Head of Commercial, Laura Whiting said "This is a fantastic sponsorship deal which will prove both financially beneficial to the club and also to our fans through the range of offers and competitions we will now be able to run through Doncaster Free Press."

To launch the partnership, Doncaster Free Press have also generously sponsored Rovers opening home game of the season against Preston North End and are keen to show their commitment to the club as Managing Director of the Free Press, Paul Bentham acknowledged "Doncaster Rovers are a great success story for the town and a real example of what can be achieved by local organisations, over the past few years we have really enjoyed writing about Doncaster Rovers success and it is now great to officially be part of that moving forward."
