Die hard Rovers supporter, Aidan Smith received an extra special present from Goal Keeper David Button, as he celebrated his 10th birthday with a Group Experience party at Doncaster Rovers, at the fixture against Peterborough.
As part of the Group Experience package, Aidan and his friends and family were treated to a VIP stadium tour, which includes a visit into the players changing rooms, giving the party an exclusive insight into how the changing rooms are set up on a match day. During the visit, Aidan left a Birthday card on top of the kit of his favourite player, David Button, who turned 23 on Monday.
As Aidan and his party prepared to welcome the players onto the pitch in their role as Official Flag Bearers, Button paid Aidan a special visit to have a chat and thank him for the Birthday Card. To top off Aidan's Birthday, Button also promised an extra special birthday gift to Aidan.

After the game, Button, true to his word, presented Aidan with the Rovers shirt he had worn at the Peterborough game, which he also signed for Aidan.
"Aidan said it was the best day of his life, David Button was so nice. The group Experience party was an amazing experience - I asked him what he was going to do for his birthday next year and he said Rovers! Thanks once again for such a wonderful day. "
Karen Smith (Aidan's Mum).
Doncaster Rovers would like to thank David for this great act of kindness and for all his hard work during his loan spell with us.
