Thursday saw the Junior Rovers head to the Doncaster Superbowl for a special night of VIP bowling. 30 members took to the lanes, along with Billy Sharp, Jason Shackell, Martin Woods, Waide Fairhurst and Ben Smith who acted as team captains. After the first few shots, it was obvious to everyone that Waide was a ten pin king, and was beginning to notch up high scores.

First strike of the night went to Hamish Robinson-Martin and highest individual score of 101 went to Fergus Lynch, who both proudly collected their winner's medal and certificate from Billy Sharp. The overall winning team on the night was Ben Smith's team the Smithy's Strikers, who notched up a whopping 690 points.

Three very special certificates were also handed out. "Superstar" went to Waide Fairhurst for his high score amongst the players of 143. The title of "Superflop" had to be shared between Billy Sharp and Ben Smith with a very average score of 89. Hard luck boys.

Thanks to the Doncaster Superbowl for their hospitality and patience and a very special thank you to Billy, Jason, Martin, Waide and Ben for giving up their precious time.
Thanks to all members that attended, hope you enjoyed the night, and I look forward to seeing you all at the next Junior Rovers event.
