Doncaster Rovers appointed Lee Butler as the Club's new goalkeeping coach in January 2008 following the departure of Barry Richardson to Nottingham Forest.

Lee left his previous position at Halifax Town, taking up his new position at Doncaster, where he coaches the squad's goalkeepers in Neil Sullivan and Gary Woods.

Butler both played and coached at Halifax Town, also having a brief spell with the Rovers in 2002, where he made 10 appearances for the side.

Lee has also played for Aston Villa and Wigan, however it was at Barnsley where he enjoyed his longest spell - making over 100 appearances for the Tykes.
