Manager Sean O'Driscoll felt that a draw was a fair result against League One side Cheltenham Town in Tuesday night's FA Cup Third Round tie, setting up a replay at Keepmoat and a possible tie against Aston Villa.
Both sides had chances to win the contest, with a Fourth Round tie against Aston Villa at stake, however no player on the pitch was able to break the deadlock and the tie will be brought back to the Keepmoat Stadium, where it will be decided once and for all.
"I think at times we looked like we hadn't played a game for a couple of weeks, but at times we looked nice and fresh, we've just got to get that balance right," said Sean after the goalless contest.
"It was a typical Cup tie. We worked all week at recognising their threats. They've got a goalkeeper that can kick the ball the whole length of the pitch, long throwers on both sides and we knew that whatever happened in between, we would have to defend them really well and I think we did that really well all night."
"I thought once we got possession of the ball they almost banked up and only left one upfront, so we had to be patient. It's a tight pitch not much space so we found it difficult to get the passing going and were not a team just to lump the ball forward into the box."
"All it all it was a fair result."
