Following a 0-0 Third Round draw against Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road, Doncaster Rovers defender James Chambers stated he was pleased to still be in the FA Cup; however he admits that the League is still top priority for the Rovers.
"Obviously we'd like to pit our wits against Aston Villa, but our main goal is staying in the League we are in at the moment, so you could say the League games are more important," explained Chambers after the draw.
In a game where both sides had their chances to nick a win, Chambers knew before the kick-off that it wasn't going to be an easy game for Sean O'Driscoll's side.
"Cheltenham were up for it as you would expect, as everyone wants to play in the FA Cup. It'll be the same in the replay."
"We got quite a bit of possession and got balls in the box, but the ball didn't fall as we would have liked it to or it bounced the wrong side of the post."
"It's frustrating for everybody especially considering the run we were on, we just wanted to carry on playing and winning games, we couldn't do that today but hopefully we will be able to on the weekend and in the replay next week."
