Bid For Hayter's NSPCC Shirt

Posted on: Wed 29 Apr 2009

DONCASTER Rovers supporters can now get their hands on the first of the outfield players' limited edition green and white hooped shirts, which were specially commissioned to aid the NSPCC in Rovers' 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

And what a buy these ones are!

The Doncaster Rovers Official e-Bay auction now have TWO of the NSPCC green and white hooped shirts available for purchase - with all funds raised going directly to the NSPCC.

The first is that of Doncaster Rovers striker James Hayter - the man who scored Rovers' second goal in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Hayter latched onto a splendid pass from Waide Fairhurst to slam the ball into the back of the net. Hayter (pictured below celebrating the goal) will sign the shirt himself and this will truly be a one-off piece of Rovers memorabilia.

Remember - only enough shirts to kit out the Rovers squad were produced - and these are the only ways that you can purchase the kit.

The bidding for James Hayter's NSPCC shirt starts at £100. Click HERE to go straight to the lot.

The second shirt we have available is the shirt worn by loan midfielder Kazenga LuaLua. LuaLua was handed his first start by Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll for the clash against Crystal Palace and looked lively in the encounter up until the point he was forced to withdraw; due to two clashes to the face from Palace players.

This is the chance to win the shirt of a player who may or may not be with Doncaster Rovers for next season - so make sure you grab the chance to own a piece of history.

Remember; all funds raised from the Rovers' e-Bay auction goes straight to the NSPCC - so please bid generously.

Bidding starts at £50 for Kazenga LuaLua's shirt. Click HERE to go straight to the lot.
