SUPPORT ROVERS IN THE YORKSHIRE MASTERS
The Sheffield Arena hosts the Yorkshire heat of the Masters Cup 2009 on Saturday 18th July - so get down and support Doncaster Rovers' representative side.
Participating in the Yorkshire heat of the competition alongside Doncaster Rovers are teams representing Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Leeds United and Hull City - all of whom will be looking to make it through to the next round of the tournament.
Representing Doncaster Rovers in the competition are former goalkeeper and current goalkeeping coach Lee Butler, Cambridge United manager and former Rovers midfielder Gary Brabin, striker Graeme Jones, Steve Gaughan - who played for Doncaster Rovers between 1988 and 1990, current Sheffield Wednesday assistant manager and former Doncaster Rovers defender Russ Wilcox, Doncaster Rovers' current assistant manager Richard O'Kelly, former Rovers midfielder John Doolan - now playing for Southport, defender Chris Swailes - who played at Belle Vue between 1993 and 1995 and who is now playing for Gateshead - and finally the man who's 12 goals helped Doncaster Rovers to our second consecutive promotion to League One at the end of the 2003-04 season; Leo Fortune-West.
