Rovers Player is the newest media offering that allows people unrivalled access into what is going on at Doncaster Rovers Football Club.

The new Rovers Player will replace the current Rovers World - which has been developed severely over the past couple of seasons - and is set to go live in time for the Rovers' big kick-off down at Vicarage Road against Watford.

Rovers Player offers some of the same features as Rovers World - but with much more:

- Videos will be DRM free - meaning that they can be played on PCs, laptops and Apple Macs
- Videos will be streamed in Flash Player, as opposed to the current Windows Media Player format
- Videos will be viewable in full screen 16:9 widescreen
- There has been an upgrade to 1MB streaming for Rovers Player videos (with a 500KB for low-res users still in place)
- Close to DAB Digital Radio quality audio commentaries on Doncaster Rovers match days - home and away
- All the latest news without external adverts
- A brand new Flash based Match Day Live console - so you can keep ahead of EVERYTHING going on around all the divisions and the country.

In addition to the new features, there will be video and audio interviews with Sean O'Driscoll, Richard O'Kelly and all of the Rovers players uploaded regularly - as well as the first video interviews with all of the Rovers newest signings.

Subscribers can also log-on for exclusive post-match reaction and extended match highlights.

And, for those supporters who can't get to the match, Rovers Player will be the first place for exclusive commentary of every league and cup game both home and away.

Best of all, for current Rovers World subscribers, there is no price increase and subscriptions will be automatically transferred free of charge.
