Doncaster Rovers have named the strongest starting eleven possible for the season opener against Watford at Vicarage Road (3:00pm KO).
Sean O'Driscoll's side start with Neil Sullivan between the sticks, protected by a back four of former Hornet James Chambers, Sam Hird, Adam Lockwood and former Gareth Roberts.
A bank of four occupies the midfield, with skipper Brian Stock accompanying Martin Woods, John Spicer and Dean Shiels, who will more than likely push forward and offer support to a two-man attack.
That attack consists of last season's top-scorer Paul Heffernan and the fully fit again James Hayter, who missed a chunk of last season through injury.
With new Football League rules, Sean O'Driscoll names several men on the bench, including new signings Mustapha Dumbuya and John Oster. International clearance has not been received in time for fellow new signings Quinton Fortune and Byron Webster.
Accompanying Oster and Dumbuya on the bench are Lewis Guy, James Coppinger, James O'Connor, Mark Wilson and goalkeeper Ben Smith.
Rovers: Sullivan; Chambers, Hird, Lockwood, Roberts; Spicer, Woods, Stock, Shiels; Heffernan, Hayter
Subs: Smith (GK), Wilson, Dumbuya. Oster, O'Connor, Coppinger, Guy
