Doncaster Rovers make the 300-mile trip to Plymouth Argyle this weekend, as Sean O'Driscoll's side look to repeat last year's result at Home Park.
Goals from John Spicer, James Hayter and Paul Heffernan scored in a 3-0 victory against Paul Sturrock's side in a victory that secured Championship football for another season towards the end of last term.
However, this season will see the Rovers take on an Argyle side fresh from a 1-0 victory against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, with the Rovers boss believing that it's the Pilgrims' work ethic which will be their most powerful weapon.
"Based on our report from last week, they all work for one another," Sean told Rovers Player ahead of the long trip to Home Park.
"They deserved their result against Middlesbrough, because sometimes you can win 1-0 and it can be a fluke. But I don't think it was apart from when Adam Johnson missed a penalty, but if you are going against one of the bigger teams away from home, you need a bit of luck. I think that Paul Mariner (new Argyle head coach) coming in has given everybody a little bit of extra enthusiasm. If you work hard in this division and you have a modicum of luck, then you might not get to the top half of the table, but it seems to be enough to stay in the division."
"I think that they are a hardworking side, I think that is the big thing that we have been trying to emphasise to our players. They have two banks of four which work really hard for one another. They have the benefit of going into the game coming off the back of winning three points, so that will give them a little bit of confidence and they will look to build on that now. For us, we have the same problems wherever we go. Can we be good enough in possession? We are not going to physically outbalance teams, really. We need to manipulate the ball and if we can do that, then nine times out of ten, we will create chances. Then we will need to put them away."
