FOREST BRING IN SHOREY
With four days remaining before Doncaster Rovers travel to face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, Saturday's opponents have moved prior to the loan-window deadline to bring in England international defender Nicky Shorey from Aston Villa.
The former Reading man has signed on loan to Forest until the end of December, with Martin O'Neill able to recall the defender at 24-hour's notice.
The 28 year-old will link up with his Nottingham Forest team mates on Thursday and is set to go straight into Billy Davies' starting eleven to face the Rovers on Saturday.
Shorey was part of the Aston Villa starting eleven that faced Doncaster Rovers in last season's FA Cup Fourth Round replay at Villa Park, in which the Premier League outfit emerged 3-1 winners.
