Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Neil Sullivan was forced to face one man from twelve yards twice, as Rovers were condemned to their first defeat in five games against Coventry City on Boxing Day.
Sullivan himself was judged to have brought down Leon Best inside the area for the first penalty, which Best saw deflect off of Sullivan's left-hand post. However, he was also forced to face another penalty in the second half, which Clinton Morrison slotted beyond him.
Overall, despite the individual scenarios Sullivan found himself facing, the veteran 'keeper believed that the performance of the team warranted more from the game.
"I'm disappointed," Sullivan told Rovers Player.
"Really disappointed, actually - to lose to a goal so late on in the game, especially with the run that we have been on. I thought that we were going to keep another clean sheet and to lose that on a penalty - I'm really disappointed."
Despite his disappointment, Sullivan was professional enough to admit that the first penalty decision was spot on, but revealed that a look back at the second penalty decision showed that it was harsh on Rovers.
"The first one was a penalty, it was, but we've looked back at the second one and Chambo (James Chambers) has and, the ref says that there was a push and it wasn't."
However, Sullivan is glad that it was to happen during the Christmas period - as the quick succession of games means that Rovers don't have time to dwell on defeat.
"Over the Christmas period, the good thing is that you don't have long to sulk and think about it, because you're on to another one on Monday. We've still not conceded a goal from open play in five games and we have still defended well."
