Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll was delighted to secure another three points, following a 2-1 victory against Watford at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The game was Rovers' first since Boxing Day, with Rovers welcoming back skipper Brian Stock who had been out since September with an ankle injury.
However it was Dean Shiels and Gareth Roberts who stole the headlines, each with a superb goal to give Rovers a 2-0 lead before Watford's Heidar Helgusson scored a consolation from the penalty spot in injury time.
"I thought the performance was terrific," Sean told Rovers Player after the game.
"I thought that we were well worth it. At first I thought that Scott Loach was going to have one of those games where nothing was going to get past him, but Dean Shiels' quick feet and smart shot got us in front and Gareth went on to pick one out from twenty yards. I'm delighted; it's been a difficult week but I think that we have come through it with flying colours."
"In the first half, I thought that we controlled it. They are dangerous with their midfield front runners but I thought that we coped with that. In the second half, we kept our shape and our discipline - which you need to do in this division - and got the goal. We've become quite adept at winning games 1-0 this season and I thought it looked as if we would be coming away with a professional 1-0 win. Gareth's goal made it a little bit easier and allowed us to throw caution to the wind. You want to see the game out and you don't want to make any mistakes. The penalty we will have to take. The three points, especially after the break that we have had - as well as the performance - is terrific and everybody in the dressing room this evening has a smile on their face."
Sean also confirmed that Brian Stock suffered no reaction to his ankle injury, after the Welsh international came through 75 minutes; whilst Jason Shackell - who was replaced by Sam Hird in the second half - suffered from cramp and should be fit for Tuesday's game against Brentford in the FA Cup.
