FANS MAN OF THE MATCH - READING
One lucky Doncaster Rovers fan was the envy of an entire stadium on Saturday afternoon thanks to local property specialists Moss Properties.
Linda Bladen of Blaxton was the lucky fan and envy of fellow supporters as she went pitch-side before Rovers home game against Reading to be presented with a signed Rovers football by fan favourite Gareth Roberts.
Linda won the opportunity after taking part in a brand new joint initiative by Moss Properties and Doncaster Rovers, the Fans Man of the Match.After voting for Gareth Roberts as Fans Man of the Match in Rovers recent home game against Middlesbrough, Linda was randomly chosen out of all the entrants to win a signed Rovers football.
On being presented the prize by her chosen Man of the Match Linda said "I'm thrilled to have had chance to go pitch-side and meet Gareth and win a signed football too, I think the Fans Man of the Match is a great idea, and it's fantastic to be able to win such a prize simply from offering an opinion!"
The Fans Man of the Match is a new initiative for Rovers fans created by on-the-ball business and Property Specialists, Moss Properties.Rovers fans attending home games can cast their votes by texting MP75, followed by the name of their chosen footballer and their own name to 80480.Texts cost 25p plus one standard network charge and the number of votes per phone is unlimited.
On Saturday, the winner of fans man of the match was Brian Stock and the lucky fan randomly chosen from the Fans Man of the Match voters was James Barthorpe. James will win a signed Rovers football to be presented by Brian Stock at Rovers next home game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
