Doncaster Rovers striker James Hayter made his 400th career start last Saturday, as Rovers defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The 30 year-old front man, who made the majority of his 400 starts with his only other professional club in Bournemouth, was delighted to be part of a winning Rovers side, with the team going through a frustrating spell of defeats up until this week.
"It's been a few games since we last won and I thought that we put a good performance in today and we are delighted with the three points," Hayter told Rovers Player.
"Forest are a really good team and they have been flying high recently and it was nice to get one over on a club aiming for promotion."
"All games are competitive in The Championship and today was no different. They were a very fit team, but I thought that we played at a very high tempo. It was a good game, as I said - it was competitive - and that is what you want from games. I can't remember Sully having to make a save, to be honest. They put us under some pressure and they put some balls into the box; but I don't think they had any clear-cut chances. After losing the last few, we're happy to have two back-to-back clean sheets."
