MINUTE'S APPLAUSE AT BRISTOL CITY

Posted on: Fri 05 Mar 2010

Bristol City and Doncaster Rovers will take part in a minute's applause prior to their Championship game at Ashton Gate this weekend, as a mark of respect to Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander; who sadly died this week.

The Football League has asked all clubs to observe a minute's applause prior to the kick-off of their respective matches - to pay tribute to a true gentleman and great servant to the game of football.
