Doncaster Rovers striker Paul Heffernan has extended his loan deal with League One side Bristol Rovers.
The Irish striker joined The Gas on an initial one-month loan deal at the beginning of February and has since impressed Rovers manager Paul Trollope and the Bristol Rovers fans alike.
Heffernan will now remain at the Memorial Stadium until the end of the season, after his form for The Pirates has resulted in two goals during the month against Charlton Athletic and Swindon Town.
Heff will be available for Bristol Rovers until the end of the league season; however should The Gas reach the Play-Offs, the 28 year-old will be unable to play for Paul Trollope's side.
"We are pleased to have agreed that (the loan extension)," Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told the club's official website.
"We were pleased with his performance again on Saturday, pleased that he scored another goal and he is forming a good partnership with Jo, they are getting to understand each other, and it is a major boost for us."
"I think he is enjoying his football, and playing regularly. His sharpness is coming back, and hopefully Saturday's performance is a sign of things to come."
