Doncaster Rovers midfielder Mark Wilson continues to shine in the middle of the park, putting together a decent run of hard-working performances as he becomes one of the regular names on the manager's team sheet.
Wilson performed well again in the 1-1 draw against Preston North End at Deepdale, but felt after the game that Rovers should have had the points in the bag come the whistle for half time.
"It was possibly a fair result - but we feel we should have capitalised on our possession and chances," Wilson told RoversPlayer.
Player Radio: Wilson reviews the 1-1 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale
"We had the first half, but they came at us in the second half and they performed well. Deepdale isn't the easiest of places to come; the fans get up and create a good atmosphere here. Overall, a point was probably a good result, but we felt that our performance deserved more. We think that the game should have been over at half time. We had the penalty in the second half, but nobody is going to have a go at Billy, he's been in great form and it wasn't a bad penalty at all. He's massive for us and he will pick himself up and be ready for Derby County on Saturday."
