Doncaster Rovers on-loan striker Billy Sharp will not face his parent club Sheffield United in this weekend's South Yorkshire derby at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has revealed that the 'gentleman's agreement' between himself and Blades manager Kevin Blackwell, which he enforced at Bramall Lane this season will stand for the return fixture at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend, but is aware of how much of a loss not having Billy Sharp in his side is.
"Well, he is second-top goal scorer in the league and one of the reasons that we are where we are, is because of Billy Sharp," Sean told RoversPlayer.
"We're going to miss him, but it's a challenge. We have an almost natural replacement in James Hayter because, first and foremost, he is a striker. He has the attributes which mean that we can use him elsewhere, which is sometimes to his detriment, but I am sure that he will be relishing the challenge of going out there and filling Billy's shoes. He'll be up for it and he will want to show that he is another player who, if you give him his licence, he'll get goals in this division."
