Midfielder Jordon Mutch has been left smiling after his recent performances in the heart of Doncaster Rovers midfield, as the 18 year-old comes to the end of his loan spell from Premier League side Birmingham City.

"I've just wanted to keep improving game-by-game," Mutch told the Rovers Official Website.

"I've wanted to get more experience and to just keep learning - and I have been very happy with my performances as of late. It's been fantastic of the manager to put his trust in me and the position that I have been playing - getting forward - has been great for me. I get into the box and try to score and luckily for me, I did today. I saw Gareth bombing down the left and I had a feeling that he was going to overhit it, so I tried to get into space and I was there on the end of it and managed to tap it in."
