Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has handed a start against Bristol City to Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Mason, who joined the Club on loan Friday afternoon.

The Rovers boss has rung the changes to the side that were knocked out of the Carling Cup on Tuesday evening, with a host of players returning to fitness.

Neil Sullivan starts in goal to make his 500th career league appearance and is protected by a back four of James O'Connor, Adam Lockwood, Shelton Martis and George Friend.

Fellow new signing Wayne Thomas starts on the bench, alongside former City man Steve Brooker, Mustapha Dumbuya, Waide Fairhurst, 'keeper Gary Woods, Sam Hird and the returning James Coppinger.

Rovers: Sullivan; O'Connor, Lockwood, Martis, Friend; Stock, M. Woods, Gillett; Shiels, Sharp, Mason
