Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll admitted that it was a performance of two halves, as his side came from behind to earn a point against Bristol City at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The home side dominated proceedings in the first half and looked to have a clear goal from George Friend disallowed after officials judged the ball to have not crossed the line, however Damion Stewart's header gave City the lead minutes after the restart as Rovers struggled to perform to the level of the first half.
However, a late surge from James Coppinger into the box led to Rovers being awarded a penalty late in the game - with Billy Sharp smashing the ball home to salvage a point.
"It was a bright first half, against a team who had come here to make it difficult for us," O'Driscoll told RoversPlayer.
"But I thought that we made really good decisions, played at the right times, turned them when it was on and reacted when things weren't going our way - all of the things that you want your side to do, I thought we did in the first half."
"We let a goal in and still tried to make the right decisions, despite them not coming off and then everybody's reactions were poor. I didn't think we were brave enough at times. The crowd want us to smash it forward and we may as well walk off the pitch if that is the case. We've been in this division for three seasons and we know what we need to do to get results or be successful."
