Doncaster Rovers defender Adam Lockwood believes that Saturday's trip to Cardiff City is just one of many tough tests that he and the side will face during the course of this third Championship season.
Rovers head to Cardiff undefeated in the league thus far, picking up a win against Preston on the opening day of the season and drawing with Bristol City last Saturday.
"It's going to be a tough test like every game in this division," Lockwood told RoversPlayer.
"We try to win every game that we are a part in and to be undefeated going into the game is definitely a good thing. However the further you get, the tougher it becomes to remain unbeaten. We need to keep working hard and continue to improve week in week out."
Should Lockwood start this weekend, he could be the man to mark Cardiff City's latest signing - Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy - who has joined the Welsh side on a season-long loan.
"He's somebody that they have added to what is an already strong squad," says Lockwood.
"He's a quality player and probably one of the best in the Premier League last year, so he'll no doubt bring strength to their squad. As a squad, we will look at all of their strengths and see what we have to do to apply our game plan upon them. It could be a good test for me to go up against a player of that quality. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and you sometimes get a taste of that in the cup games. To test yourself and to see how far you have come is always a good thing."
