Doncaster Rovers welcomed John Oster back into the fold on Saturday afternoon, following a spell on the sidelines following knee surgery.
It was a much-needed return for Rovers, with Oster showing the flair and creativity in the middle of the park that has been missing at the start of the campaign and Oster didn't disappoint putting in a superb performance against Hull City for 70 minutes in which he was instrumental.
"I felt I did okay," Oster said modestly.
"I haven't played a game is something like four months now and I haven't even featured on a bench, so I was thrown straight into the deep end. The result made it all that more enjoyable. For me, I played in a slightly different role in our system, but it was okay. I thought that the lads did well, especially after last week and losing 4-0 - which was disappointing for us. It was vital that we got back to winning ways today."
"I got seventy minutes today and I feel okay. Obviously, I was a little bit rusty but it wasn't too bad. I'm quite lucky fitness-wise and I have been able to have a good week's training and was able to slot straight back in."
"It's a little frustrating that there is now a break for internationals but it was important going into that break to not get a bad result today."
