Doncaster Rovers midfielder Martin Woods has been named in the npower Championship Team of the Week.
The 24 year-old sent Rovers on their way to a 3-1 derby day victory against Hull City at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday, with an impressive looping header within the first minute of the encounter.
Woods went on to continually test keeper Matt Duke in the Hull City goal, before putting the nail in the Tigers' coffin by setting up James Coppinger's goal, Rovers' third, in the win.
Woods' performance was not unnoticed by the game's match sponsors, Aldermore, who voted the Scottish midfield maestro Man of the Match.
Amazingly, there is no place in the team for fellow midfielder John Oster, who capped a return from injury with a scintillating performance.
Former Rovers striker Jonathan Forte was also named in the Team of the Week, following his brace against Crystal Palace, as was former defender Matthew Mills - who scored Reading's winning goal against Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium.
