Waide Fairhurst is a player with a huge future ahead of him, having progressed through the youth system at Doncaster Rovers - signing his first professional in the summer of 2008.
Since then, the young striker has shown his talent both in the red and white hoops of Doncaster Rovers and in spells on loan. Composed on the ball, Fairhurst's passing and shooting ability are first class.
Fairhurst's first start in The Championship came during the 2009/10 season, lining up against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. Within seven minutes, Fairhurst had given Rovers the lead.
Fairhurst spent a spell on loan to Shrewsbury Town later that season, however in the summer of 2010; Fairhurst extended his contract with the Club and will remain at the Keepmoat until the summer of 2012.
