Rovers In The Community Offers

BALL BOYS

Doncaster Rovers Community Sports and Education Foundation are now looking to recruit Ball boys/girls for all the new Championship season and all the cup games. Community Officer Richard Bailey said" we are looking for teams throughout the season to cover every possible fixture here at the Keepmoat Stadium including youth cup games. Teams must be the under 13 age group (age 12 and above) we also request that squads contain no more than 16 players. Teams will be asked to wear their club tracksuits or training gear and the manager and assistant managers of the side will be able to accompany their side. Matches will be allocated on a match only basis (including evening games) unfortunately teams will not be able to pick certain games. ROVERS MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE

Doncaster Rovers Community Sports and Education Foundation are once again in a position to offer the Rovers Match Day Experience for the forthcoming championship season. The Match Experience is available to all community groups and boys and girls football teams. The day consists of a one hour tour of the Keepmoat Stadium, including visits to the Rovers and away team changing room, referees room and pitch side. There is a one hour coaching drill with the Community team and the chance to watch the game in the afternoon. Prices are £150 for up to 30 people on a Saturday match day and £130 on an evening fixture, although the evening fixture will have a slightly less time scale. The Saturday match experience is 11am-1pm and for night games times are 4.30pm-6.15pm.To book a match experience call Richard Bailey on 01302 764663 or email Richard at richard.bailey@doncasterroversfc.co.uk.

SUMMER COURSE UPDATE

We are now entering week two of our summer football courses and so far over 300 Doncaster youngsters have attended at six different venues in and around Doncaster. The courses will continue through the six week summer break and parents can book by calling the Community Office now on 01302 764663 or simply turn up on the day. Parents are reminded that these courses are football only and nothing whatsoever to do with the activity days which are been held at the Keepmoat Stadium. For anyone attending the courses they are held on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Keepmoat please check in at the Rovers Community Office through the Sports Development doors opposite car park two.
